We want to begin by
thanking you for making Summers at the River the premier
sports complex in Springfield to play softball. As we
look forward to our 2008 season.

League play and
tournaments: In the past they were treated as separate
entities. By listening to our players, we have realized
that if tournaments were offered and scheduled at the
start of the season, plans could be made to participate
early. Please check our calendar for info on upcoming
tournaments.

Tri-Season Leagues: We
tried it last year with great success! Instead of 2
14-week seasons, we start in March with 10 weeks of
play. We follow that up with a 10-week summer league.
Finally, a 10-week fall league.

First Come First Served:
We will be presenting our softball packages to leading
businesses in the Springfield area this year. We believe
that this is such a great way to provide benefit for
your employees as well as put your company’s name in
front of thousands of people; we know the available
slots will fill up quickly. With only 240 corporate
sponsorships available, time is of the essence. Get
signed up now and provide your valued employees with yet

The River has 4 fields
that host 3 softball leagues each year. Tournaments
bring players from surroundings states and provide great
competition. Family friendly grounds make playing ball a
family event. Come enjoy great ball, good food and cool
drinks.
